Every town has its witch. At least I think they do. I know ours does. She isn't scary like stories say she should be. She has a face like my older sister's, the one who isn't married yet, with an eager smile and bright eyes. He flipped out the light of the tiny bathroom. Running his tongue along the now smooth surfaces of his teeth, he checked the chain lock and dead bolted the door. He paused doorway that led into the bedroom, leaning against the wall as though to gather his strength. She had fallen asleep already. Once upon a time there was a boy who wanted to be fought for but not to be saved. The Boy, who was actually a bit older than a boy but didn't like to be reminded of this, lived in a very lovely treehouse on the ground and got along quite nicely in a miserable sort of way. By happenstance this boy met a knight in shining armor. This knight was a woman but that didn't make her less of a fighter. On Father's Day, in a house without a child, they met when the Knight came to look at him with her artificial eye. This eye didn't see well but it never forgot what it saw and that was where its magic lay. With her real eyes the Knight saw even more.

And Verily, She Had a Thought

I had a thought, yes I did. I really wanna do a study abroad program this summer. It's an english concentrated program in Paris. Paris! Right now it's one of those things I talk about and get snarky responses from my mum, things like "if you still had a job you could go." BUt I'm hoping if I show an interest in, start saving and what not, maybe they'll help me out. So I'm thinking about maybe using one of these self publishing sites and doing a book of my poetry. Would any of you be interested in a book of my poetry? Or maybe a few short stories? If so which ones? And do you have any suggestions of sites to go through to do this?

I Like the Way You Look Just Hate the Way It Hurts

I would like to thank everyone for all the comments and favorites and watches on How to Spell Love. I would also like to thank !bekkia (https://www.deviantart.com/bekkia) for suggesting it! So, I know everyone says it, it should just be a rule, but I can't possibly thank everyone for the favorites. So here is a general thank you! If you commented I will try to respond to all the comments. Uber thanks to everyone. :glomp: As a side note, I think everyone got it wrong when they said that time goes slowly when you're waiting on something. Time goes much more slowly when you have nothing to wait for and it's all the same over and over. Just a thought. Because as Descartes say
